Dr. Trinity Nina Nathoo, Registered Provisional Psychologist
French Canadian by origin, Trinity Nina Nathoo grew up in Montreal, Quebec and later moved to Calgary where she studied Psychology at the University of Calgary, completing her undergraduate degree in Neuropsychology followed by her Master of Counselling degree. Intrigued by the human psyche, science, and spiritual principles, she continued her studies in pursuit of her Ph.D. in Metaphysics and Pastoral Counselling at the University of Sedona.
Trinity specializes in depression, anxiety, grief and chronic pain due to her personal struggle with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia. She works with individuals of all age groups, as well as couples and families as a whole. Trinity provides a holistic and integrated approach grounded in both Eastern and Western philosophy, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Mindfulness Meditation and Integrative Body Therapy akin to practices of Tai Chi, Qigong and Yoga. She is also a certified Energetic Medicine Practitioner and incorporates Reiki into her sessions for the management of chronic pain and chronic illness. Trinity utilizes her therapy dogs, Faith and Leo, in attachment and grief therapy work.
In her spare time, you can find Trinity drawing and painting, working on her jewelry line, riding her motorcycle through the mountains, spending time in nature with her animals, hiking and running, singing and playing her guitar, and volunteering as a Pathfinder leader and Spiritual Healer with the Healing Ministry Team at Red Deer Lake Church.
