Stephanie Dale, RMT

Stephanie started her career in Massage Therapy after having previously studied Anatomy and Physiology at the U of S. Having spent some time working in the veterinary industry she started learning about sports therapy and massage for Canines and Equines. Deciding to further her studies, she completed a 2200 hr diploma at MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy in Calgary. After two years of working with people she decided to pursue a career in human therapy after graduation.

Stephanie is a great problem solver and has a very Osteopathic minded approach to her treatments. She is often on the search for new information and techniques to help treat her patients. This approach has led her to be very effective in treating both acute and chronic conditions. Her treatments are very holistic in nature as she looks at the whole body and focuses on rebalancing all the major structures. This approach is important and is what makes the difference between a treatment “holding” or not. She specializes in treating shoulder injuries, knee pain (both due to injury and idiopathic issues), lower back pain, migraines/headaches; and stress and anxiety. Her practice also includes pre and post-natal patients as well as children. She also has experience working with clients who have neurological pain, MS, parkinsons, amputees, TMJD, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, and carpel tunnel syndrome.

Stephanie begins her treatments with an interview and assessment. She then develops a program for each patient with the patient’s goals and outcomes in mind. Programs can include follow-up treatments, homecare exercises, and supervised stretching and assisted mobilizations in the treatment room or gym. Stephanie believes a proper assessment and a complete program is very important for long-term success and is the backbone of her treatment strategies.

In her free time she enjoys training with the ITTA, teaching horses and riders, and going on adventures with her husband and two dogs.
