J Wellington, C.Ped
J Wellington grew up in Nova Scotia where he studied kinesiology at Dalhousie University, then continuing to University of Western Ontario to obtain a Diploma in Pedorthics. He is currently a Canadian Certified Pedorthists candidate. His experiences with the Dal track team – both as a competitive sprinter and athletic trainer, lead to his keen interest in athletic performance and health-care, particularly in regards to biomechanics.
In order to help patients – J will conduct a thorough assessment including; postural observations, video gait analysis, and assessment of muscle and joint function. From then, determining whether the orthotic to should support, align, prevent and/or accommodate foot abnormalities to improve foot function.
In his spare time you’ll probably find J in the mountains either biking or camping in the summer and downhill skiing in the winter, all the while – with good friends.
Her techniques are beneficial for the relief stress and pain, headache and the prevention and treatment of injury.
