Dr. Shane Kraft is a cum laude, clinic honours graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and has been in full-time practice in Calgary since 1992. He has completed the USA National Chiropractic Board Examinations I, II and III, the Canadian National Board Examinations, and the Provincial Examinations of Alberta, Ontario, and British Columbia.

He has given numerous presentations, including internationally, on chiropractic care. He has completed the North America Academy of Impairment Rating Physicians program and the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute programs.

He is the founder and owner of Optimum Wellness Centres, with over 25 clinics in Alberta and Ontario. Dr. Kraft’s passion is chiropractic, and this is reflected in his business and personal life.

Dr. Tanner has spent the majority of his life in Calgary, Alberta. After dealing with a nagging sports injury, Dr. Tanner found relief through chiropractic care and witnessed first hand it’s many benefits. After attending Mount Royal University, he obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States in Portland, OR where he graduated with honours.

Dr. Tanner’s treatment approach focuses on determining the underlying cause of your symptoms and building individualized treatment plans to get you moving more efficiently and in a pain-free manner. Dr. Tanner utilizes a variety of techniques such as traditional chiropractic adjustments, various soft tissue therapies, rehabilitative exercises and patient education. His goal is not only to treat and reduce your symptoms, but to prevent future injuries by focusing on strengthening and rehabilitate exercises.

When not in the office, Dr. Tanner stays active by weight lifting, spending time in the mountains and enjoying quality time with friends and family.

Dr. Thomas graduated from the University of Western States in December of 2021, earning his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree and achieving a 4.0 grade point average whilst at it. He was born and raised in Calgary Alberta, and like many others he spent his formative years playing the game of hockey. However, it wasn’t until after achieving his Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary that he began competing at a high level as a Long Track Speed Skater and was able to discover how beneficial chiropractic care could be. Not only in helping him to perform at his best, but also to ensure that he was training pain-free. Before heading down to Portland, OR for chiropractic school Dr. Thomas also became a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) where he worked with many high level athletes and general populations alike.

Dr. Thomas’ treatment style focuses on diagnosing and determining the root cause of your symptoms, and putting together individualized treatment plans to not only reduce your pain but get you back to performing at your optimum level. Whether you are a seasoned athlete, a labor worker, or a grandparent looking to play with their grandkids again, Dr. Thomas’ approach to care can help you to achieve your goals and prevent future injury in the process. He utilizes a variety of techniques such as manual chiropractic adjusting, soft tissue therapies, and exercise rehabilitation along with patient education to achieve this.

In his spare time, you can find Dr. Thomas outside running up mountains, riding his bike, or spending quality time with friends and family.

Dr. Yna Flores moved from the Philippines to Calgary at a young age and has lived in this city ever since. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Calgary. She wanted to pursue a career in healthcare and was especially drawn to the hands on and holistic approach of chiropractic. She decided to move to San Jose, CA and attend Palmer College of Chiropractic – West to complete her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. 

Dr. Flores utilizes diversified manual adjusting and soft tissue therapy techniques in individualized treatment plans. She believes in the importance of preventative care and treating the root causes of various conditions. She is excited to serve her hometown of Calgary and welcomes patients from all walks of life.

Outside the clinic Dr. Flores loves spending time with her friends, family and dog Billy. She enjoys exploring the city’s restaurants, walks along the river and good game nights. She also enjoys watching her favourite sports teams and playing basketball.

Dr. Arman Bonyadi Behrouz, ND, graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, Ontario. He is registered with the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta (CNDA) and is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).

He has worked for 4 years as a physician’s assistant at the Integrative Clinic and has extensive experience with natural treatment modalities and a wide range of health concerns.

During his one-year internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic in the CCNM, he had an opportunity to work under Dr. Jonathan Prousky’s supervision focusing on mental health disorders.

Before becoming a naturopathic doctor, he practiced as a medical doctor in Iran for more than 13 years in the field of mental health disorders. After immigrating to Canada, Dr. Behrouz decided to use his knowledge and experience in naturopathic medicine as a naturopathic doctor.

John received a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy in the Philippines in 1999. He moved to Canada in 2006 and became licensed to practice physiotherapy in the spring of 2010.

John enjoys treating sports and orthopedic problems from the neck to the ankles. He also provides return to work rehabilitation and treats motor vehicle-related injuries.

John plans to continue his education and be mentored through the post-professional diploma in Manual and Manipulative Therapy programs as well as others in IMS and dry needling.

Outside his career, John enjoys spending time with his wife and family. He enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and reading.

Anu completed her physiotherapy degree program from SVIMS University India in 2003. With a huge passion for this noble profession, she has practiced Physiotherapy for more than a decade in broad spectrum of rehabilitation field.

Anu has special interest in treating motor vehicle accident and work related conditions. She blends her more than decade of experience and expertise for quick symptom relief and for best functional outcomes.

For best results, she believes in her skilled hands approach, coupled with evidence based exercise and electro therapy condition specific protocols.

If not at work, she enjoys being busy with her loving daughter.

Sunaina Menghwani, is an Experienced, Passionate, Thoughtful and Motivating Physiotherapist, who is Your Perfect Pal when you need a little boost to get going. Sunaina has impressive credentials in Orthopedics, Musculoskeletal, Neurological and Sports conditions. She has served all age populations form Young athletes to care of the elderly. Sunaina promotes a Positive Mind-set and a holistic health approach to Wellness.

Originally from India, Sunaina has honed her Bachelors of Physiotherapy along with Masters of Physiotherapy (Orthopedics) from India. She is in Good Standing with the college of Physiotherapy, Ontario. She thrives on breaking through the barriers that are holding people back from achieving their goals and watching them succeed. Central to her approach is integrity. She feels strongly that this should be the foundation of any heath care providers practice. As an experienced therapist, she focuses on Communication and has learned that people take information in differently, ensuring she is able to adapt. Her Passion is infectious, motivating her patients to work hard to get the best results possible.

Born and raised in Alberta, Alisha Shivji holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology and works as a Registered Psychologist in Calgary.

Amid her professional journey, she has volunteered as a victim support worker with the Calgary Police Service and has provided counselling services to clients from culturally diverse backgrounds.

Understanding that no 2 people are the same, Alisha is inspired to provide a client-centred approach to therapy tailored to meet each individual’s unique needs.

Mindfulness, cognitive-behavioural, and solution-focused techniques are some of the more common strategies that she uses to help individuals achieve a sense of growth and improve their quality of life. She also possesses training in clinical trauma therapy, pain management, and CBT-I.

An avid Calgary Flames and Manchester United fan, Alisha enjoys a variety of activities in her spare time that include travelling, photography, reading, and watching sports and movies.

Tiffany Mitchell is a graduate of the Masters of Counselling program from Athabasca University and has worked with children and adults in a variety of roles over the last 6 years. Tiffany uses a variety of therapies and theories, including but not limited to; Psychodynamic therapy, Narrative therapy, Mindfulness-based strategies, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. Tiffany focuses on understanding the circular effects of time and helping individuals use their experiences to adapt, change, and enhance their lives.

Wilma Furog is from the Philippines and finished her 3000 hours Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy program at Makami College. She is an active member in good standing of the Certified Registered Massage Therapist Association.

She performs a wide range of massage and advanced neuromuscular techniques. Her mission is to provide therapeutic massage with professionalism and competence to cultivate wellness. She always recommends additional techniques such as stretches and strengthening exercises that the clients can perform at home.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going out to play, and praying.

Anthony is a Registered Massage Therapist, who graduated with a 3000 Hour Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy Program, at MaKami College.

Confident in his work as a Massage Therapist, Anthony effectively relieves pain and stress from patients through the use of massage therapy. He is experienced in a wide range of modalities such as Deep Tissue, Swedish, Pre-natal, Hot Stone, and much more. Anthony ensures that a client is always treated with care and comfort. He is exceptional in reading his clients and finding the right approach throughout each of his sessions. Anthony believes that creating a positive environment, and having communication with his clients is essential to Massage Therapy.

Anthony remembers to keep a balanced lifestyle. always acknowledging the importance of keeping up with your own physical, and mental health, but still having a good time and enjoying life.

Manpreet graduated from Mount Royal University with a 2200 hour Massage Therapy diploma. Manpreet arrived in the Calgary in 2013 as an international student. Her technical skills include: deep tissue massage, therapeutic massage, myofascial release, lymphatic drainage, trigger point therapy, relaxation massage, and Swedish massage.

It is Manpreet’s belief that Massage Therapy can enhance a person’s overall sense of emotional and physical wellbeing. It can be an important part of any health maintenance plan by eliminating muscle tension and chronic pain.

During her free time, Manpreet loves spending time outside in nature, and also with her family and friends.

Michelle graduated with Honours from Alberta College of Massage Therapy 2200 Hour Diploma Program.

Michelle loves how massage help her feel relax and find relief from stress from her previous work that she decided to become a massage therapist herself. She would like to help clients find relief from their pain and try to find its source. She utilizes massage techniques such as trigger point release, pin and stretch, passive & active engagement, myofascial release and educate clients with homecare such as hydrotherapy and stretches to help manage their pain in between massage.

Michelle loves to go for a walk, bike ride and hike whenever possible and do yoga daily.

Michelle plans on taking more massage modalities such as Dynamic cupping, TMJ therapy and is currently taking Manual Osteopathy training program to expand her knowledge and to help client get better as much as she can.

Hillary provides Swedish massages, deep tissue massages, stretching, trigger point therapy, hot stone, as well as prenatal and postpartum massages. Hillary is always looking forward to learning new techniques and ways to help her clients. She can also use TCM Acupoint, meridian, Tui-Na, Gua-Sha, reflexology, and Ear seed methods to enhance regular massage techniques.  Hillary can effectively treat her clients with torticollis, neck pains, headaches, frozen shoulders, lower back pain as well as figuring out ways to treat her clients and get them back to full health.

Stanley has been treating patients in the medical profession for 30 years and started in the custom foot orthotic field 20 years ago. His passion for pedorthics drives his ability to find helpful solutions and to share educational information with his patients. He strives to provide the best possible experience in foot care. His patients regularly comment on his thoroughness and attention to detail in his assessments which include an analysis of posture, biomechanical gait movement patterns and lower extremity musculoskeletal function. Video gait analysis provides the ability to visually show patient exactly when and where their imbalances occur. He encourages his patients to participate in their own recovery by taking the time to educate them about their medical condition, footwear selection, orthotics and home rehabilitation programs.

Stanley graduated with a Diploma in Sports Injury Management (Athletic Therapy) from Sheridan College in 1991 after completing a Bachelor of Physical Education from Brock University. He subsequently became a Certified Athletic Therapist in 1992, a Canadian Red Cross Emergency Medical Responder Instructor in 2000, a Certified Pedorthic Technician in 2002 and a Certified Pedorthist in 2003. Stanley has been a member of the Canadian Athletic Therapist Association since 1990, a Canadian Red Cross Training Partner since 2000 and a member of the College of Pedorthics of Canada / Pedorthic Association of Canada since 2002.

Stanley recharges his energy by engaging in outdoor pursuits, especially on a sunny, warm Alberta day. To keep active, Stanley currently participates in camping, white water river kayaking, alpine skiing, mountain biking, jogging, martial arts as well as weight and cardio training. Stanley also enjoys riding his motorcycle in the mountains during the warmer months of the year.
