Dr. Cameron volunteers her time as a member of the interview team for acceptance to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Also, she is an examiner with the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board and held a position on the Medical Advisory Board with the World Health Club in Calgary. Her approach to treatment focuses on the principle that optimal joint function is based on proper soft tissue function and vice versa. She utilizes various soft tissue therapies, including active release therapy, Kinesio taping, prescription of individualized exercises and stretches, and traditional chiropractic adjusting techniques. Emphasis is also placed on rehabilitation to improve strength, flexibility, and mobility. As well, dietary modifications or supplementation advice is given when indicated.

In the years since Dr. Jas has completed a variety of courses and certifications to remain current in her treatment approach. These include achieving board certification as a CCSP® (Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician®), receiving accreditation in both Graston and FAKTR (Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehabilitation) which are two of the many soft tissue therapies she employs in practice, and completing courses in various kinesiology taping procedures, including Rock Tape.

Dr. Jas provides an evidence-based, holistic, personalized approach to Chiropractic care, including manual adjustments, soft tissue therapy, taping, and rehabilitation exercises. Her goal is not only to treat injuries, but also to prevent future injuries by maintaining a healthy, pain-free lifestyle, and assisting patients in achieving their personal health goals – whether that is to go for a walk with grandchildren or complete a triathlon.

Dr. Frostad’s treatment approach is varied in nature, with a focus on chiropractic adjusting, soft tissue therapies, and exercises. He prioritizes patient education and gives the patients control over their care. He believes that every patient is unique and develops a treatment plan specifically for them, not only to get them out of pain but to get them moving optimally and empower them to pursue movement and healthy living.

Dr. Bakhtiyarova’s greatest passion when it comes to chiropractic care is addressing her patients concerns while ensuring they fully understand the symptoms they are experiencing. She is dedicated in making her patients feel comfortable and at ease during treatment. Dr. Bakhtiyarova places a strong emphasis on trying to always identify the underlying cause of the patients’ symptoms to help create a customized treatment plan specific for the patient. She firmly believes that movement is medicine and is essential in maintaining a balanced and healthy lifestyle.

When not in clinic, Dr. Bakhtiyarova enjoys swimming, trying new coffee shops in the city, watching her favourite TV shows, and spending time with her family and friends!!

He has worked for 4 years as a physician’s assistant at the Integrative Clinic and has extensive experience with natural treatment modalities and a wide range of health concerns. During his one-year internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic in the CCNM, he had an opportunity to work under Dr. Jonathan Prousky’s supervision focusing on mental health disorders. 

Before becoming a naturopathic doctor, he practiced as a medical doctor in Iran for more than 13 years in the field of mental health disorders. After immigrating to Canada, Dr. Behrouz decided to use his knowledge and experience in naturopathic medicine as a naturopathic doctor.

Mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused techniques are some of the more common strategies that she uses to help individuals achieve a sense of growth and improve their quality of life. She also possesses training in clinical trauma therapy, pain management, and CBT-I.

Anu has a special interest in treating motor vehicle accidents and work-related conditions. She blends her more than a decade of experience and expertise for quick symptom relief and for best functional outcomes.

For best results, she believes in her skilled hand approach, coupled with evidence-based exercise and electrotherapy condition-specific protocols.

If not at work, she enjoys being busy with her loving daughter.

He also has experience dealing with various orthopedic conditions, and MSK injuries like sprain/strain, MVA, and workplace injuries. He uses joint mobilization and soft tissue mobilization combined with modalities, customized exercise programs, and patient education to help improve recovery.

In his spare time, Anil loves to read, travel, and spend time with his family.

In her spare time, she spends it with family whether it be indoor activities like baking and playing with her son or doing nature-related activities with friends.

She specializes in therapeutic massage therapy and has taken courses to expand her scope of deep tissue therapy. Tess is trained in several massage techniques, including Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and hydrotherapy.

Wendy specializes in deep tissue therapy as well as myofascial release with the use of myofascial cupping. Those with injuries, back pain, and everyday aches will benefit from Wendy’s knowledge and strength.

Alisha Grover is a dedicated Registered Massage Therapist at our Sunridge clinic, passionate about helping patients restore balance, reduce pain, and improve mobility. She brings a diverse range of therapeutic techniques to her treatments, including Swedish (relaxation) massage, deep tissue, sports massage, pregnancy massage, myofascial release, and both external and internal TMJ therapy.

Alisha also incorporates trigger point therapy into her sessions to provide targeted relief and long-lasting results. Fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi, she creates a comfortable and welcoming environment for clients from all backgrounds.
