Dr. Thorne, born and raised in Millarville, Alberta, attended her post secondary studies at Acadia University in Nova Scotia where she graduated with her degree in Sports and Recreation Management. After graduation she made the Canadian National Bobsled team where she competed across Europe and North America. Her team of chiropractors became an intricate part of her athletic success, which sparked an interest and motivation to pursue a career as a chiropractor. Dr. Thorne was awarded her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Toronto’s world-renowned Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in June of 2014 where she simultaneously attended McMaster University to receive her diploma in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture. Dr. Thorne has completed courses in Graston Soft Tissue Mobilization, as well as, Functional Assessment. Dr. Thorne lives an active lifestyle, having always been involved in sports such as gymnastics, equestrian, as well as soccer and volleyball at the Varsity level. She is passionate about health and wellness and is dedicated to assisting her patients reach their goals with specifically tailored treatments. These treatments are based upon their individual needs and created with a team-based approach.
