What are orthotics? Orthotics are specially designed, custom made supports moulded to fit your foot perfectly to provide the support that you lack.
They are individualized to stabilize your spine and pelvis by correcting imbalances in your feet. Though they may go unnoticed, these imbalances contribute to fatigue, misalignments, and pain throughout your body.
These imbalances can occur even when you are not experiencing foot pain. Your feet are the foundation of your body. They support you when you stand, walk, or run; they help protect your spine, bones and soft tissues from damaging stress as you move around.
Your feet perform better when all their muscles, arches, and bones are in their ideal stable positions. People who stand, walk, and lift a lot at their jobs often have foot pain and dysfunction that can lead to back pain.
Blisters, bunions, corns and calluses are NOT normal and are signs of foot dysfunction.
Most insurance companies cover orthotics partially or fully. Check your insurance plan and get cast!
