On December 12, 2007 Optimum Wellness Centres decided to find a way to bring the spirit of wellness to the communities they serve. Having supported their communities through fundraising initiatives in the past, they decided this year to donate the money raised from their Annual Customer Appreciation Event to the Home Start Program operating within the Boys and Girls Club organization.
The success of the event was no surprise, according to Dr. Shane Kraft, CEO of Optimum Wellness Centres. "Our philosophy is to promote a sense of health and wellness not only for individuals but within the families we care for. We have a dynamic group of professional throughout our 18 locations who always go above and beyond the call of duty to do what is right for the families we serve." A great big thank you to all the families who came out and supported this amazing event.
We support the following worthy causes and are always looking for more so if you know of a worthy cause that might not be receiving the support that it should please let us know.
Offers programs and activities at 25 locations throughout the city, enriching the lives of more than 35,000 children, youth and their families each year. Our goal is to provide safe, supportive places where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life.
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Calgary Home-Start program is a community project run by experienced volunteers who offer support, friendship and practical assistance to families with children under the age of five. The Home-Start program provides parents with extra support and the opportunity to further develop their parenting skills.

Located in Beiseker Alberta, the museum is situated on an abandoned portion of the old CPR Langdon subdivision. Land owned by Trans Canada Trails, and managed by Alberta Trailnet, has been leased to the museum to become part of the Trans Canada Trail Network.
The Trans Canada Trail Network will be 18,000 kilometers once completed and will connect over 800 communities throughout all of Canada's provinces and territories.
We are proud to be a sponsor of the Beiseker Centennial Railway Museum.
This year we have added the Strathmore Youth Centre as yet another way we at Optimum Wellness Centres give back to the communities in which we reside. Although the bulk of our clinics are in Calgary, we want to be just as active in the communities that surround Calgary, for keeping the smaller communities thriving will benefit us all.
The Strathmore Youth Center accepts anyone within the Calgary area. "If you need a new place to come and meet some friendly people in the Strathmore community we welcome you to come and check us out! We have pool tables, air hockey, karaoke, foose-ball, special events, seminars about alcohol and drug abuse, and FOOD!!!
