Christy Loates R.M.T.

As a massage therapist, I try to look at individuals on a wholistic level. I look beyond the initial complaint, to the whole body, one’s daily activities and stresses in order to treat the root causes as well as the presenting symptoms.

I was trained at Sir Sandford Fleming College in Peterborough Ontario in an intense program that included a strong base in anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology, as well as 2200 hours of hands on training. I have also taken my education beyond school with courses in pregnancy massage, infant massage, infant massage instruction and Reiki level one and two.

I have been in practice now 4 years and have had the wonderful experience of treating a wide variety of clients ranging from complex health issues to people who want to de-stress their lives. I am a member of the CMTO in Ontario and the MTAA in Alberta and am recognized by all personal insurance companies. I also welcome individuals injured in motor vehicle accidents.
