Glynis Johnson, RMT
Massage Therapy became an important part of Glynis’ life when she sought a way to alleviate her own stress and low back pain. She soon realized that massage would be a rewarding way to contribute to others’ well being also. Having realized her dream to be a massage therapist, 13 years ago she attended Mount Royal College where she graduated as a Certified Massage Therapist and received over 1000 hours of training in orthopedic assessment, deep tissue, trigger point, neuromuscular, hydrotherapeutic and relaxation massage techniques.
Using a variety of techniques, Glynis’ approach to bodywork is based in the belief that healing begins by recognizing the interconnectedness of our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies. Glynis uses her knowledge of the body and her intuition to custom tailor client sessions to help them live and work in a happy, pain-free body.
Glynis’ goal is to work with clients to facilitate the body’s innate ability to heal itself by bringing awareness and balance to the entire being focusing on relaxation, energy release and rebalancing of the body through massage to help aid the body’s own innate healing wisdom.
A massage session with Glynis is unique in that she educates clients on how to take an active role in their own healing and personal development. She finds that clients heal faster and are more empowered when they combine massage, exercise and healthy lifestyle choices. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to use her education and experience to help people achieve their goals for a healthy lifestyle.
There is nothing more therapeutic than the healing power of human touch. It works on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels.

I first visited your clinic two years ago because I had overworked my body into such a state I could hardly walk. I was assigned to Glynis RMT 2200 who is now my massage therapist for life. She has an extensive understanding about the human body and how it functions. She helped me to recover quite quickly and provided great advice to avoid injuring myself in the future...My last visit was for a relaxation massage, which was amazing! I was so relaxed I drooled, which apparently is a great compliment to a massage therapist. Thank you Glynis!
