Chiharu graduated from the University of Calgary in 2010 with a Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology. Her keen interest in health and wellness, and sports lead her to become a personal trainer at GoodLife fitness for two years. As a personal trainer, she helped many clients reach their fitness goals through personalized exercise programs and nutritional support. She also has eight years’ experience working with Japanese hockey players, ranging from small children to the national women’s team.
In 2012, Chiharu joined Optimum Wellness Centres as a Clinic Assistant with the hopes of stepping foot into the health and wellness industry to reach her ultimate goal of become a physiotherapist. Her dedication and passion lead to a career, as she got promoted to a Team Leader, Administrative Assistant, Executive Administrator, and now an Assistant Operations Manager. Currently, as an Assistant Operations Manager, Chiharu is responsible for administering and coordinating the internal operational activities of Optimum Wellness Centres in accordance with the company’s’ policies, goals, and objectives.
In her spare time, Chiharu likes to play video games, watch Japanese TV shows, and read comic books.
