Dr. Dinesh S.G. Rajakaruna D.C.

Dr. Dinesh received his chiropractic education at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic where he graduated on the Dean’s List with Delta Sigma honors in 1999.  He is licensed in both Alberta and California.

In California, he had seven years of experience treating and examining patients, managing tough cases in the Worker’s Compensation and Personal Injury markets in California and was designated as a Qualified Medical Examiner there. 
Employing Diversified, Activator and many physiotherapy techniques, he has had plentiful experience in the multidisciplinary setting co-managing cases with numerous medical professionals such as family practitioners, orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, anesthesiologists, internal medicine specialists, physiatrists and physician’s assistants.  Additionally he has vast experience in performing Quantitative Functional Capacity Evaluations and designing and monitoring work conditioning programs and treatment plans for patients.

Dr. Rajakaruna recently moved back to Alberta and is currently accepting patients in the Optimum Wellness Bowness Clinic. He is a member of both the Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors and the Canadian Chiropractic Association. 

An accomplished track and field athlete, he has achieved numerous successes as a sprinter at the provincial and national levels as well as few international meets.  His hobbies include listening to, writing and composing music, and he continues his running.
