Dr. Nicole Carson, D.C.
Born and raised in San Jose, California, Dr. Nicole Carson knew at an early age that her life's calling would be in the health sciences. Obtaining her certificate in massage therapy in 1999, Dr. Carson worked throughout her collegiate years as a Certified Massage Therapist. After receiving her Bachelor's Degree from the University of California at Davis in Clinical Nutrition in June 2003, Dr. Carson continued her postgraduate studies at Palmer Chiropractic College West in the Fall, graduating in December 2006.
Utilizing a variety of skilled techniques, Dr. Carson is proficient in identifying and applying the most effective treatments that are best suited to each individual patient. Currently, Dr. Carson is a practitioner of the Graston Technique, an innovative soft tissue treatment technique that helps break up scar tissue in both new and old injuries.
Dr. Carson believes in a holistic approach to both health and wellness and thoroughly enjoys discussing this with her patients. By including nutrition, soft tissue work and chiropractic adjustments in her practice, she believes this combination of options will help the varied needs and concerns of each of her patients, with her ultimate goal to return them to optimum wellness.
In her free time, Nicole enjoys running or attending spinning classes at the gym. She is currently training to run her first half-marathon. When at home, Nicole spends copious amounts of time eating popcorn and playing with her cats. She thoroughly enjoys the challenge of getting all the cat fur off her clothing each day before work!
